This house held TWO SOCIAL STUDIES BOOKS! Unfortunately, they didn't use all of the jelly beans so they were not allowed to win. I was still impressed though! The inventors of this group were Jake, Kristopher, and Joshua.

Jelly Bean Domes
We are completing a STEM activity today. The boys are making Jelly Bean Domes and we are going to see whose will hold the most weight. They are practicing their engineering skills! They made sure to make their blueprint first.

We found little leprechaun footprints, but none of our traps had a leprechaun.

Boone Hall Plantation
After the SC Sea Turtle Hospital we visited Boone Hall Plantation. We learned so much about the slave cabins, growing and harvesting cotton, and the Gullah culture. 
Sea Turtle Release
We were so fortunate to be able to see a rare leatherback sea turtle when we visited the hospital right before they released it! Here is an article about the release:

SC Aquarium and Sea Turtle Hospital
We loved the aquarium! The boys saw sharks, alligators, hawks, touched sting rays, and got to visit the SC Sea Turtle Hospital! We were able to see the turtles we raised money to help adopt and it was such a wonderful experience!
March Madness
We have started our March Madness tournament of books! We are all reading a book we picked and in April we will vote to see who will be the champion.
