Researching for Our Animal PBL
Today the students were in learning groups to research their chosen animal. They will rotate from reading articles, to working on the computer, and to writing about their animal.
Buddy Bench
4th Grade built a buddy bench and taught us about bullying. They told us the students that if someone ever felt lonely they should go to the bench. Today one of my students went to the bench and two other boys went over and invited him to play! It's moments like that as a teacher that make your heart melt!

Turtle habitats
We built turtle habitats today! The students even added turtle tracks from where the turtle laid her eggs. They also made sure to add seaweed so the baby turtles would have a safe place to go when they hatched.

Wonder Wedneday
This was our Wonder today that our "Catch of the Week" picked.

I loved that he picked something with animals since we are currently studying animal adaptations! We got to review a lot of our important words such as predator, prey, migrate.

Wonder Wednesdays
Every Wednesday we are looking at a wonder on Wonderopolis to start off our day. It helps us learn new things in a fun way! It also helps us wonder in other parts of our day and world! Last Wednesday we looked at the wonder Is dry ice really dry?

Blogging About Turtles
Please check out our kid friendly blog that we are doing in class! They are blogging about what they have learned about turtles so far. Eventually, I will have the link attached to my page, but we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. This way students will be able to blog at home about what they have learned in class or comment back on someone else's blog post.
